1st Grade Self-Portrait Poetry

​As part of the District 13, PS 46 partook in the Elevating Voices initiative that provides students with access to culturally responsive texts that focuses on equity and affirming student identity. Our 1st Grade Team worked in collaboration with Ms. Coombs to have students draw self-portraits, and then have students write poetry about themselves. Check out their work here!

Como parte del Distrito 13, PS 46 participó en la iniciativa Elevating Voices que brinda a los estudiantes acceso a textos culturalmente sensibles que se enfocan en la equidad y la afirmación de la identidad de los estudiantes. Nuestro equipo de primer grado trabajó en colaboración con la Sra.
